I met Iyad on Twitter. Unlike many of the Palestinians I've talked to, Iyad says now is not the time or the place to go over options to settle land disagreements. Instead, he is calling on the world to 'stop the killing of the children.' Iyad says discussions about rights to land should be handled by more diplomatic means in the near future. | |
Iyad is angry saying foreign nations and humanitarian organizations have not done enough to stop the shells from threatening the innocent. While we were talking, I witnessed first hand the sound of an explosion. It sounded like it was just blocks away from his home. --Paul [NOTE: I continue to request interviews with experts, Israelis, and Palestinians to provided a balanced view on what is happening on this site. What has been posted is a reflection of who has responded to my requests. It is my goal that as time goes on, many sides and arguments are represented.]
